Amanda Brugel
Pointe Claire in Montreal's West Island is a small, sleepy town. Many people who don't know the name mistakenly believe that the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually this is not the case. West Island includes everything westward of the city of Lachine. It is often cited as the birthplace of Amanda Brugel but while that may be true, her time there was not long. Brugel was raised in Courtice close to Oshawa. She initially wanted to become an actress, However, following a dramatic expansion, she and her partner could no longer dance along with her. The Toronto Star article revealed she's 6ft 1in tall in heels. The moment I outgrew any male partner then I slowed down. Bruce was among the former dancers who shifted into acting. Her high school teacher school was the one who pushed her into the right direction. One of her teachers suggested she audition for an annual school play. The school's production was a success and she was selected to play the lead character in Anne of Green Gables after she auditioned for. It was the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship led her to York University, where she completed her studies in Theatre and graduated with the Bachelors in Fine Arts in the year 2000. Her career spans twenty years, and she's performed in more than 60 shows including big screen productions and smaller ones. The most well-known role she played was as Rita (pictured beneath) on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was the sole Canadian actor in the season 1 which was viewed only on occasion.
